yipee, yesterday some of the guys went training with me. i believe they all "enjoyed" the training and benefited from it. hahaha... we shall have more trainings in future... also gentle reminder, please do stretching now n then when u r feeling the ache. tsk tsk =P
anyway, i was reading a book and i came across this extraction:
Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carol
'would you tell me please, which way i ought to go from here?'
'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said the cat.
'I don't much care where...' said Alice.
'Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the cat.
The author is trying to bring something across. That's the choice and point of view.
Then it occurred to me that sometimes, we don't know what we r aiming for or even dunno where's the finishing line. Humans are becoming more like "robots", many do not know wat they r working so hard for. I always believe that if there's an end point ur path will be clear.
Even when times u have to make a choice, do think twice before making a decision as there's no turning back in a final decision. Even if u made a wrong choice, it doesn't say it's the end of the world. It only means that u SACRIFICED ur choice, to GAIN a lesson learn. I read a book by Mitch Albom, "Five People You Meet in Heaven". There is one part where Eddie met his army captain. Eddie was on the verge of going into a mental breakdown. The captain fired a shot at his leg to bring his senses back n brought him back home. In the end, Eddie was made one leg crippled for the rest of his life. Yes, he sacrificed his leg but in return he gained back his life.
Sometimes, it's the way people think about certain things. Yes, u may have made a wrong choice which resulted u sacrificing something. But, see it from another way, u may have gained something or ur sacrifice has made another person gained from it.
So instead of pondering over the last "mistake", take it bravely and march on to future. If ever, the same situation is to come by again, be it urself or ur fren, family member, or anyone else, i believe u will be able to advise them wat u LEARN from the past.
Always respect the choice u made, it's the minimum self-respect u can get from urself. =]
[Every lesson learn, is like putting a "penny" into ur invisible pocket and there's no limit to it...]
